MEDIAN Group holds first International Medical Board
MEDIAN Group is proud to have hosted its inaugural International Medical Board focussed on Mental Health.
This forum brought together doctors, therapists and senior leaders from across the Group to exchange knowledge and promote innovative approaches that can enhance the quality of treatment for patients.
The board was established following the success of the medical boards at MEDIAN Germany and the clinical networks at Priory, which bring experts together regularly to share best practice and collaborate.
The first International Medical Board Mental Health, was hosted in Berlin and focussed on:
- Understanding the services and treatments on offer in each territory and the healthcare systems they operate within
- E-prescribing and data-driven approaches to improving patient outcomes
Philipp Schulte-Noelle, MEDIAN Group CEO, said: “The International Medical Board Mental Health is designed to give senior clinicians and leaders a pan-European perspective on health and social care, and a space where they can share knowledge, expertise and explore innovative new treatments and techniques.
“It’s also a forum to explore our challenges together, and look at the solutions that have worked in our individual countries and what we can transfer into a different setting.”
The board will meet every three months, and rotate across the Group’s three countries, incorporating sites visits where possible.
